1. Support services at the Mgr. Henri-Cormier Lodge, which provides free lodging for patients undergoing oncology treatment and their companions.
2. Offer free non-medical support programs to help people live better with cancer.
3. Support cancer research projects at the Atlantic Cancer Research Institute (ACRI).
4. Support children with rare cancers (pediatric oncology)

 

In 2024

• 70,800 visits to the Dr. Léon-Richard Oncology Centre and regional clinics.
• 50% of patients at the Dr. Léon-Richard Oncology Centre come from the Moncton area and 50% from other regions in New Brunswick, as well as PEI, Nova Scotia and Québec.
• 813 patients and 193 companions lodged for free at the Mgr. Henri-Cormier Lodge, for a total of 1006 patients/families.
• Most common cancers: breast, lung, colorectal and prostate.
• Specializations such as gynecologic oncology and advanced brachytherapy serve patients from across the province.
• Every week, 95 New Brunswickers are diagnosed with cancer.
