Thérèse Thériault named Vice President, Administration and Partnerships, Fondation CHU Dumont

Moncton, NB - October 10, 2023 - Mr. Gilles Allain, CEO of the CHU Dumont Foundation, is pleased to announce the appointment of Thérèse Thériault as Vice President, Administration and Partnerships.

Trained as a translator and an accredited member of the Canadian Public Relations Society, Thérèse's career path facilitated her integration into the CHU Dumont Foundation seven years ago as Director of Major Gifts and Planned Giving. Prior to joining the team, she had held the positions of Director of Public Relations and Vice President of Client Services at GCP Strategic Communications, while at the Université de Moncton, she had worked as Director of Alumni and Development, and Director of Communications. Her passion for philanthropy was sparked by her responsibilities for the Excellence fundraising campaign at the Université de Moncton.

“In addition to being a seasoned and motivating leader thanks to her impressive career in communications, management and public relations, Thérèse knows the inner workings of the Foundation inside out,” said Mr. Allain. “Her exceptional networking skills are an undeniable asset in engaging and retaining our donors and community partners. I'm delighted that she has accepted the role of Vice President.”

Created in 1983, the CHU Dumont Foundation directly supports the improvement of care offered at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. It plays a leading role in improving specialized care, research, and teaching programs, as well as infrastructure and equipment. Since its beginnings, the CHU Dumont Foundation has raised more than $70 million through various fundraising activities, including the annual Tree of Hope campaign.
